Without Faith it is Impossible to Please Yah

If doubt and faith seem to be in a constant battle in your mind, it isn't a good thing. In fact, it can be draining and even depressing. You're trying to have utmost faith in Yah, but doubt always seems to seep in... sound familiar? Let's see what the Bible says about a wavering and doubt-filled person. In the book of James, it says that the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. And that person shouldn't expect to receive anything from Yah. Why? Well, it says in the following verse that such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. Now, the scriptures say that without faith, it is impossible to please him. The Torah defines faith as resting, trusting, and hoping in Yahuah, cleaving to him, waiting for him, making him our shield and tower, taking complete refuge in him in every situation, in every trouble, without doubting for one second that he won't take care of it or that it's too big. When we doubt, we are sinning against Yahuah and his very law! I know, right? Let me explain. The first law is "I AM Yahuah, you shall have no other mighty ones before me." Now, when we doubt Yah and place our trust in other people, like our parents or siblings, or in a political leader to help us out of a situation or bring us comfort, we are basically telling Yah that he is not strong enough or capable enough to do the thing or give us assurance or rest in our trouble. A lot of people lack faith and say they don't feel the presence or power of Yahuah in their lives. The lack of knowledge and faith in the word of Yah is one of the reasons for this.

Now, what is faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It's assurance and confidence. So, how can we increase this faith? Well, the Word says that we can do it by hearing the word. And by that, I mean reading scripture or listening to someone teach about it. When we engage in the study of scripture, our faith increases because our knowledge of Yah grows. And as a result, Yah's Holy Spirit within us strengthens our faith and in this you will see your life change dramatically.

Faith is not just mere human hope. Human hope is based on wishful thinking, not on trusting in the word of Yah and Yah Himself. Doubt and hope make us ask, "What should I do?" But real faith that comes from Yah says, "It is done" and surrenders to Yah's will. I was reading this article that said the common phrase "I am hoping and praying" is not scripturally correct. "I have prayed and believe" is the more accurate phrase that shows our faith has come from Yah.

Faith is not just a psychological attitude. Mere positive thinking may have some good results, but it's not the same as Biblical faith. Faith is not based solely on sensory perception or human reasoning. We live by faith, not by sight. It's that simple.
